Visited while on vacation and really enjoyed it.
It was a pretty busy Sunday evening but the employees are quick and attentive and make ordering a breeze.
I had the coconut shrimp and it was so good! It came with fries & slaw, both were fresh. The pineapple sauce that comes with it made it even better, I recommend ordering extra because not only does it go great with it but the portion is HUGE, not a bad thing at all but if you're looking for something light I recommend splitting this.
My bf ordered a bacon cheeseburger, which was also great! It comes with only the meat and cheese, and there is a bar that has all other toppings (veggies and sauce on side).
The only thing I wasn't really a fan of was the crispy calamari. When brought to the table they were more on the soft side making the texture a little strange.
But besides that everything else was great! I would recommend this place, especially if you're with a bigger group; there is plenty of seating.

MOLD!!!!  My family and I drove to Galveston (in 2 cars from far North Houston)for the SOLE purpose of dining at The Spot per recommendation from a coworker. Just as she described the ambiance was great! I really enjoyed the breeze, the upstairs dining option, and watching the beach! The food was priced fair which was nice for the location and the pina colada was delicious.... I felt good about our hour and a half drive to experience The Spot. Then.... as I prepared to walk downstairs to purchase another round of pina coladas I handed the little umbrella  that was decorating my first one to my niece just to realize that the one I had just finished was completely covered in MOLD!!!! How in the world could you not see the inside of the coconut covered in spores of MOLD before you served it to me!!??!! INSANE!!!! Needless to say my last couple of days have been less than comfortable.  When I informed the manager she gladly replaced my drink. I can't imagine that this is an acceptable ingredient on the menu!!!! I'm nothing less than DISGUSTED!!!!

****I have left three messages for the owner and he has yet to call me back.

Very fast casual, drunken eats feel to this place. Smells strongly of drunken escapades (my friend's kids couldn't stay long because "it was too stinky") and you kinda feel like your bumping into everyone on the way to your seat like you're in a bar bar.

But hey, if you're just looking for some good snacks, a party atmosphere, and a place to rest tired feet after exploring the beach, this place gets the job done! The coconut piña coladas were cute and fun to drink. And there were some pretty good shareable appetizers as well. The Shrimp Kisses were my favorite. I didn't think I was hungry at first, but once I tried one we opted to order another plate.

We hit the Spot on Seawall Blvd strictly for dessert. This "spot" has different venues rolled into one. This review was based strictly on the dessert "spot".  We ordered a huge brownie as well as a giant pecan square.  The service was a bit slow, the brownie and pecan squares were just ok.  Might be a different experience at their burger "spot" or one of their other bars at this Seawall Blvd location.

    *TOURIST REVIEW*
Driving around looking for a spot for lunch we decided to stop here. The set up is a bit tricky as you first order and then find a place to sit. You don't get a typical server here but due to the massive amounts of people that were here I think that their process was pretty efficient.

I ordered the 12pc original buffalo wings, side of fries and nutella milkshake. The fries and milkshake were nothing special but the wings were pretty good.

This place is definitely a tourist attraction, it was packed to the brim when we came. Definitely don't recommend if you don't like loud and close spaces. For someone whose pretty petite even I had trouble squeezing into my spot since the tables are so close together.

The bathrooms are strange especially their locks. It took me a while to figure out. While it wasn't anything spectacular I wasn't disappointed and I would come back to try their desserts.
